SAHM,Wife & Domestic Goddess

I seem to keep myself extremely busy being a SAHM also filling my days with volunteer work & going to school for AJ's holiday parties & programs.The today & tomorrow are a whirlwind of things to do..I do Pinterest online,my blog & I have Facebook.I have lots of crafts I want to finish up b4 Christmas.Outside of all that when I'm not running errands I am doing laundry,cooking,baking & straightening & cleaning the house-(I absolutely hate not having everything in its proper place).I stay busy so there's never a DULL moment..& who knows why I struggle falling asleep @ night becoz Lord knows I'm tired..lol I looked at the clock last night well this morning & it said 1:30am & here I am still attempting to fall asleep.With that said I am looking forward to the upcoming holidays & inviting over family for dinner..if there's one thing I have going for myself it's the ability to have people over & show them a good time via food,desserts,music,decorations & good conversation.It comes second nature..I look forward to it & enjoy doing it.I sat with AJ last night & was helping him with his homework & I honestly can't remember doing any of the stuff he is doing at my age.Seriously my son is in 3rd grade & they have Math stuff I don't even understand & I mean I know I totally suck @ Math but seriously?? When he was in first grade he was writing sight words & making complete sentences with them which still for a first grader I cannot recall for the life of me doing stuff like that.In my mind I recall coloring pictures,poasting things together,ABC's & just learning to count.Wow things have advanced since I was in school..kinda scary! Outside of school we go to church & I try to instill in AJ the things he is supposed to do & I try to be a good role model for him..I don't care if AJ wants to be a Janitor or a Dr when he grows up as long as he is happy,has a good heart & knows how to unconditionally love himself.I myself am not without flaws I'm a human..I don't pass judgement on people only based on their actions.If u commit a crime,live for drama or have closed minded views will I have an opinion..I will NEVER judge based on the color of their skin,age or any of that stuff.That should never be a factor in who a person is inside! OK I've rambled enough so I'll go for now..prayers & hugs to you & yours!

Hello World,Not alot going on today...we have another busy weekend coming upon us..tonight is me & hubby's date nite & we are staying in for dinner instead of going out..I'm fixing a one dish meal called Cheese & Garlic Rotini with grilled chicken..mm! We are planning to sleep on our air mattress in the living room floor in front of the fire..cozy! Saturday we are heading to Gainesville for Jessica & Adrien's birthday 2 big birthdays..Jessica is 30 & Adrien is a year old.Sunday is church & I hope to rest that afternoon...life isn't promised to us in the next months,weeks,days or even minutes...Eddie's sister called him & told him his 44 yr old nephew dropped dead this morning of a massive heart attack..he was getting ready to take his kids to school.Check out the pics...

Recipe For Marshellow Pops: Put icing of any color on top of the marshmellows or dip them in melted chocolate & then put colorful sprinkles on them & put a stick up thru the bottom..simple & yummy! Prayers to u & yours!

 Wow!! It's been a long time since I have blogged..things have been crazy busy! Sept.26th my step daughter,Jessica got married the day after my best friend,Cathy died.Halloween has come & gone & Thanksgiving is next week..wow time is flying! My hubby,Eddie was sick an entire weekend the weekend he was sick AJ had a friend over..they played video games & they had pizza for lunch & brownies for a snack.My nephew,Jason died on October 24th.My mom & I have been going over to my brother & sister-in-laws apartment helping them go thru things & get Jason's apt emptied out b4 the end of the year.That has been a big job.As sad as it has been going thru Jason's things & sifting out the good from the trash to toss out I am seeing bits & pieces of Jason's life but we are pulling together as a family & trying to help each other thru this the best way we know how to.We went to see Eddie's daughter,Jessica over the weekend & her youngest son,Adrien is now walking all over the place & has a mouth full of teeth..his 1st birthday is today! Yesterday was Jessica's b'day-(Adrien's mom) She was the BIG 30! Saturday we will be celebrating her & Adrien's birthday!Check out my pics from the last few months..:) Prayers To You & Yours..:)

MY Day..:)

My day has been ok but a lil sad..today was my BFF,Cathy's estate sale..they are trying to get everything sold so they can empty her house & get it ready to sell..:(....my mom & I went..I got lots of things that I am glad I got because I know they belonged to Cathy & I will cherish them FOREVER!! I got a portable phone,a humidifier,her porcelain lighthouse cannisters which are great becoz I love lighthouses,I got her long brown suede leather coat she always wore & 2 tops.I got her DVD player & a VCR I know old school but I still have lots of VHS movies..lol! Tonight is me & my hubby's date night I look forward to Fridays for this reason alone..we are planning to go eat @ Golden Corral tonight..I just have to try out the chocolate fountain..mmm!! Tomorrow a friend from school & church is coming over to spend the day with AJ they are planning to play lots of video games on the X-Box 360..we also plan to go see Eddie's youngest daughter,Jessica we had originally planned to see her last weekend but it was just too busy so we are going this weekend.Sunday is church & then I hope we can stay at home & chill.What are your plans for the weekend? This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made!

Thank God for another beautiful day of life..I hope to die peacefully in my sleep from an overdose of a wonderful life!My life hasn't always been wonderful I have experienced alot of pain,tragedy & loss but I believe I am a better stronger person because of it.I have so much to be thankful for...I have a wonderful family unit & lots of wonderful friends.I lost my best friend in September but I am grateful I met her & we became so close.I am a better person just by knowing her..I miss her soo much but I will see her again soon! When I say soon it is soon our lives are over in the blink of an eye.Last week I lost my nephew,Jason..I miss him so much & with the holidays coming up it will be hard on all of us because he loved the holidays!But we will get thru it together..yesterday my mom & I helped my brother go thru things of Jason & decide what will be done with them plus cleaning as we go..mopping,dusting,sweeping etc etc getting the apartment cleared out & cleaned b4 January so some more tenants can move in...it is sad to be doing this but it is something that has to be done.For lunch we went out for Mexican & enjoyed a great meal...I am going to have lunch at school with AJ today & we are going to the book fair together.I cherish these times we have together.Life is so short...my mom & I are going to a banquet tonight for Hart Life...dinner & entertainment..Prayers to you all!

16.My nephew,Jason died last week,he lost his battle with his Muscular Distrophy.

19.I used to wear glasses/contacts but I had eye surgery-(Viscian ICL-Implantable Contact Lens) in April 2009.I now have 20/14 vision.
20.I have a 47 yr old sister,Connie who lives in Cumming,Ga & is a principle.She has two sons-Alex is 21 & goes to Kennesaw University & Austin is 17 & still in high school.I also have a 44 yr old brother,Alan who lives in Anderson,SC with his wife,Marilyn.
21.My family & I live next door to my parents.
22.My dad just celebrated his 73rd birthday yesterday-(Halloween).
23.I have Fibromyalgia & my hubby has RA.
24.I was born with one kidney & I have Stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease.
25.I had open heart surgery when I was 6 months old.I have Tachcardia now.
26.I was in the hospital in June 2009 with Viral Meningitis.
27.I have Ulcerative Colitis.My brother has Irritable Bowel Syndrome & my sister has Celiac Disease..it's kind of ironic that we all have intestinal issues.
28.My favorite foods are shrimp fajitas,crablegs,wraps,eggrolls,shrimp fried rice,guacamole,dirty rice & stromboli.
