 This week has been so busy..Monday we were in Anderson all day..my nephew,Jason was in the hospital & he died..Wednesday we went back to Anderson to get something to wear to Jason's funeral on Saturday & then we went by my brother's & had lunch w/ them.Last night we had Fall Fun Night at our church.We had dinner there & AJ wore his costume..they were games for the kids & they got lots of candy & prizes.
   Today I got out some winter clothes & put up some Summer clothes still have more winter clothes to get out of our closet & then have to go thru all of AJ's clothes..we are blessed with clothes! Tomorrow is AJ's Halloween party @ school & I'm making cookies to take sent pretzels today by AJ..will make a picture of the cookies once I get them decorated..wish me luck found this cute idea & thought I'd try it..:) Friday night is visitation @ the funeral home from 6-8pm then Saturday @ 2pm is Jason's funeral...Eddie is going to be a pall bearer.Sunday we are going to see Eddie's youngest daughter,Jessica she got married recently to Francisco & her youngest son,Adrien will be one next month.Sunday evening we will be celebrating my dad's birthday..he was a Halloween baby so this weekend along w/everything we have to do we have to get AJ a costume & get my dad something for his birthday.Monday is Halloween & we will be out trick or treating Monday night...Bleesings to you & yours!

Eddie & I got married on September 23,2000 & we celebrated our 11th anniversary last month we went to Tybee Beach in Savannah,Ga.for 5 nights.We had a blast there..We got home on Friday & the following Tuesday my best friend,Cathy died of Pancreatic Cancer on September 27th..I miss her so much...last week we lost a cousin who lived in South,Ga she was a retired school teacher & yesterday we lost Jason,our nephew.He lost his battle with Muscular Distrophy.We have to know our loved ones who have gone on to be with Jesus are happy & we will be with them again when God calls us home! :) Love & Prayers to you & yours..:)

Get It Done

I have so many things that need to be finished or should I say started & finished..lol I am a list girl & I'm hoping that having a list & needing to check them off will be enough motivation to get these done.And the list goes as follows:

1.Get the winter clothes out of the cedar chest & put up the summer ones.
2.Get all this laundry done...so many clothes..:)
3.Do some scrapbooking.
4.Finish my book & get ready to be published.

    

Weekend & Family Death

I had a pretty good weekend..Saturday we took AJ to a Halloween party..he played games,ate,won prizes & roasted marshmellows on a fire pit.He brought home a bag full of candy,temporary tattoos,Halloween rings,erasers & stickers along with rubber spiders & bats.Late Saturday night my nephew,Jason was rushed to the ER by ambulance because he stopped breathing.He was admitted to the hosital & they put in a breathing tube & put him in ICU.Sunday after church my hubby & I went to see him..he was alert but couldn't talk..Monday morning the breathing tube was removed & the family was called in we rushed over to the hospital..they had his defribillator & pacemaker turned off..he was on oxygen & pain meds in his IV to keep him comfortable.I saw him take his last breath & all his family,friends & pastor were around him praying.He took his last breath & floated away to be with Jesus.He was here for awhile & then he was gone.

Jason on his 27th birthday back in April..RIP Jason u earned your wings,you fought a good fight now u are flying with the angels!

     Jason was special & he loved everybody & he lived his life to the very fullest even into the end.He was smart,handsome but his Muscular Distrophy overtook him.We need to remember all the happy times & moments we shared together remember him with smiles instead of tears.He was one of the best ppl I knew & I'm so glad I can say I knew him.

Yay! The weekend is here! Typical Saturday morning for me so far..I slept in until 9:30 then my hubby & I had a bowl of cereal together.He is out mowing the lawn & AJ is helping his poppa pick up pecans.I have managed to fold & put away a buttload of laundry & unload the dishwasher.I'm watching AMC Fear Fest..tonight we will be eating barbecue..someone from our church has made it..yum can't wait! AJ has two invites a friend has invited him to stay the night & another friend has invited him to a Halloween party so we are going to let AJ decide what he wants to do..I hope he picks the party because I want to spend some time with him.We need to go into town later & pay some bills & go by the drugstore & pick up some meds.My hubby & I had a fun date night didn't do much really..we watched Bounty Hunter which we love..funny movie! Then we went to bed...I'm still recooperating from having my tooth cut out our date nights are usually spent at the movie theater or doing something we don't normally do.Tonight is family night....hope u all have a fun festive weekend! Hmm it's a lil late but I'm getting hungry then I might fix some french toast for a late lunch...mmm sounds great! Love & Prayers!

Today is Friday..FINALLY! AJ stays the night with his grandparents every Friday night & Friday nights are me & the hubby's date night...I am feeling some better..not sure what we will get into tonight..hopefully go grab a bite to eat somewhere get outta this house b4 I go stir crazy..I haven't left this house since Tuesday.All I have done is watch TV & movies,eaten soup,popsicles & drank tea out the wazoo! I brought Tiger inside & held her..been blogging & doing Facebook to pass away the time.Today I actually felt like going around the house picking up & straightening & putting things that were out of place back where they go.I just put some eggrolls in the oven to bake & am planning to dip them in duck sauce..soo yummy! AJ's friend,JD has invited him to a Halloween party Saturday evening..& then we plan to go see my nephew in Anderson,SC...:) Sunday is church it will be great to just be able to get out of this house...I def have cabin fever don't get me wrong I'm a home body but just to know I can't get out & go anywhere drives me bonkers! LOL! Hope u all have a blast this weekend! Love & Prayersr!
