14.I was born with one kidney & a heart defect & I did end up having open heart surgery when I was 6 months old.

16.Around the Christmas holidays my fav movies are How The Grinch Stole Christmas & The Christmas Story.
17.I love caramel apples.
18.Organization is one of my strengths.
19.I'm spoiled rotten by my parents b/c I'm the youngest & my hubby spoils me too.
20.I get manicures regularly but have never had a pedicure..cannot stand anyone touching my feet..very sensitive..lol
21.I love to go out but I'm a homebody too.
22.It's impossible for me to pick a fave dessert b/c I love all sweet things..I have a sweet tooth!
23.I have a 9 yr old son who is growing like a weed & I'm enjoying every moment I can with him.

25.Last but not least I love all my family..Family IS what it's all about.Jason my nephew taught me how precious family really are.You learn something from someone in life..I've learned alot from diff ppl in my life but that's what Jason taught me & that is quite possibly the most valuable thing to learn!

Just Life..:)

Two weekends ago me,AJ & his dad went to the movies to see Jack & Jill it was so LOL funny! Then we had dinner @ Cracker Barrel.That is a great family movie.I had bloodwrk done last week & had to go to my nephrologist today for the results.They have been really good the last 2 yrs but today they weren't good.My creatnine was bad,my magnesium was too low & my protein in my urine was really high.On top of that my blood pressure was wayy too high..150/108 so he put me on yet another b/p reducer..I'm already on two.He said @ this rate my kidney would lock down if my b/p didn't come down soon..& I only have one kidney..:( & I have Chronic Kidney Disease.So I'm going to have to bite the bullet & lose some weight & start walking & biking as well.

Simple Saturdays..LOL!

I can remember when Saturdays were reserved for sleep in days,going to the nail salon for a manicure & shopping sprees with my friends or the hubby once I was married.My options were endless! I really never planned on doing the whole "MOM" thing.I never pictured myself on a Saturday afternoon on the playground @ the park or at Micky D's ordering a Happy meal..lol! When I imagined how my life was going to be I imagined the cliff notes version & skipped over all the little details.Those "little details" are what I obsess over now.A simple Saturday now may consist of Saturday morning cartoons & poptarts.I know that there will be a day when I look back & wish for these simple Saturdays so for as long AJ will let me I am keeping my Saturdays reserved for him..:)

Anniversaries

My parents will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Christmas Day! Now that I am married anniversaries are so much more special to me.I have realized the work it takes to keep a marriage loving & faith centered.My parents have been such a wonderful example of that!I'm blessed to have such wonderful examples.So in honor of their anniversary I'd like to share some things I've learned about life,love & marriage.

1.Never go to bed angry.
2.Falling in love is easy,staying in love takes work.
3.Love is a choice u make each day.
4.Sometimes love is doing something you don't want to for the love of your spouse.
5.Best time to talk abt a problem isn't when u are mad.
6.There is always something to worry about but just don't.
7.If the light is green go if it is yellow slow down & if its red check your lipstick.
8.Trust in the Lord.
9.Our futures are not guaranteed.
10.Do what u love & the money will follow.
11.Pray pray PRAY!!
12.Raising a family is work..but thank God everyday for your family.

My hubby tells me that I am a hopeless romantic..I guess he is right..I like candlelit dinners,roses etc etc but I like to do things like this for him as well.Friday nights are our date nights..so he had to wrk late..so I fixed a really nice meal..I fixed Garlic & Cheese Rotini w/ grilled chicken & dirty spanish rice..I turned on our electric logs in our fireplace..it was cozy that's for sure..we laid on our air mattress in front of the fire..first tho we had dinner @ our dining room table..I lit candles & we ate off our nice china & we drank out of our champagne glasses..Saturday we went to Gainesville for Jessica & Adrien's birthday...cake,gifts,pinata bashing everyone had a blast! About Me In My Own Words

I have learned that Motherhood is a series of bumps,bruises,laughs,tearsjoy,sadness,stress & relaxation.I am far from the perfect mom but I try to raise him to the best of my ability teaching him unconditional love.I have my faults,I have emotions & sometimes forget things..we all have flaws but I take my job as a mom very seriously.

I was born in 1974 in SC.I've lived many places but around in the same area pretty much..I lived in Savannah,Ga one year & loved it but Hartwell,GA is my home.To me life is a never ending learning process.I have worked doing things such as:wrking in a hair salon,wrking in a hospital as activity assistant,wrked at an after school program as a reading lab assistant & wrked in a nursing home as a CNA.Currently I am wrking on writing a book abt my life.I love to write I write poetry as well & love to read,I fell in love with reading at a very young age & it will always be apart of who I am.
I'm a funloving person..against same sex marriage & Abortions.I'm a Christian.I try my best to be an optimistic happy person.People with negativity should steer clear of me..my smile might cut you..I smile a lot.

During the week I normally get up at 6:30am but on weekends & during the summertime when school is outI wake up normally no later than 9am.
My pet peeves:I don't like it when ppl fail to use their turn signals when driving.I don't like irresponsible ppl.I tend to be very organized & stick to a routine.My biggest one is liars!!Ppl with poor hygiene-trust me I don't want to smell you!
My fav place to be is Tybee Beach soo relaxing!
The two happiest moments in my life was my wedding day & the first time I saw AJ's face the very first time..just knowing that little bundle of joy was mine to love & care for.Everyday with him is a blessing!
Being a parent has changed me..there is alot more love in my life,funny things he says & AJ always comes first! Me time has shrunk alot but I'm still the same person b4 I had him..just now there is more time spent at functions & school events.
I think the most important things in a relationship are:trust,honesty,good chemistry,good sense of humor,physical attraction,music,ethics,morals & other basic things.When I say humor it doesn't mean lame fart/potty jokes they are not funny!Do not do it in front of me that is just poor etiquette on your behalf & completely RUDE!! On w/ my list-good conversationalist,financial/emotional & social stability & def romantic.Someone full of life & not a pessimist.LAZINESS is a BIG turn off!

Being A Mom..:)

I never had any clue growing up that I'd  ever be a mom.I wasn't too fond of kids & didn't wanted my life to be tied down.I got pregnant with AJ unexpectedly..he wasn't planned so the way I see it God had other plans for me..I was meant to be a mom! I had a C-Section on June 11,2002 & met the second love of my life,AJ & I have never looked back & never been happier.It's a tough job at times but the rewarding part of it outweighs any of the bad times.As I look back it wasn't the kids I despised but how they were being raised.I have never let AJ run ramped through a restaurant or yell in the movie theater.Here is a bit abt the important ppl in my life:

My son is definitely a bright happy & cheerful personality within our house.He has an abundance of energy & is so full of life.His favorite things currently at the moment are:Pokemon cards,video games,Star Wars,Bakugan & building things with his Legos.he is very creative I might add.I love my son!

 My hubby is he next important person in my life.We have been together 11 years.We have had alot of ups & downs but have been there for each other thru thick & thin.In 2009 I was in the hospital with Viral Meningitis & lost alot of my memory didn't even know him at one point in time.Last year he had a heart attack & had two stents put in & alot had to change our eating habits & we had to start exercising.All in all I love my lil family!
