I had my first baby in 2002..Alan James "AJ" Cain.I was a new mom & scared to death.He was due July 1,2002 but God had other plans.I went to the Dr for a checkup on June 11th & because my blood pressure was thru the roof & I was soo swollen he did bloodwork & discovered I had "Toxemia".I wondered why I waddled like a duck & had cartoon feet.I didn't have AJ's baby nursery finished yet but he admitted me to Athens Regional & did a C-Section..well @ 6:11pm on 6/11/2002 I met the second man of my dreams..the lil guy who for 9 months had been kicking my ribs so hard I thought he was training for the NFL.Well ready or not he was here weighing in @ 7lbs.1oz.20 inches long.I stayed in the hospital 2 days & then was discharged to go home.We stayed at my parents house the next few days.The first night AJ was a toy..we played with him until bedtime then put him a cute lil onesie on him & put him in his basinet & we all settled down for a long summers nap.At 2am that cuddly lil baby went off like a smoke alarm & all 4 of us-me,my hubby,my mom & my dad collided in the hallway,looking for the nearest exit..lol!! Now that cuddly lil baby is not a baby anymore..time passes by soo fast..AJ is now 9 yrs old & in 3rd grade.He is involved in sports & I must say he is a natural.He may be a lil boy now but he will always be my baby..:) Always cherish your lil ones & enjoy the time when they are little because in the blink of an eye they are grown & then they are gone off to start families of their own.Love & Prayers..:)
